How to repair a steering boot using our specific or universal repair kit.

Specific steering boot

  1. Remove the ball joint
    Remove the clamps
  2. Cut the boot which need to be changed or remove it
  3. Assemble the boot
  4. Lubricate with grease
  5. Fit in the boot
  6. Attach the plastic clamps
  7. Assemble the ball joint
     

Universal steering boot

  1. Remove the clamps
  2. Cut the boot to be changed.
  3. Clean the steering with a piece of paper
  4. Set up the cone on the kneecap
  5. Lubricate with grease
  6. Pass the boot through the cone
  7. Fit the boot
  8. Lubricate with grease
  9. Attach the plastic clamps
  10. Remove the cone
